The Toasty Time story begins when I first moved to New York City in its winter months. I had no friends but a lot of time and a sewing machine, so I began replicating a favorite sweatshirt I had made for myself as birthday gifts to potential new friends. It was such as success, that I began to receive requests for orders from the recipients to give as gifts to their friends. Hence, Toasty Time was born, and has grown to a small-scale wholesale operation. They are carried in several quality independently run retailers in NYC and San Francisco. Today, Toasty Time hoodies continue to serve as a means to help forge new friendships and fortify existing ones.
Hoodies are made by American Apparel in California. Mittens are produced from a family-owned and operated knitting factory in Schenectady, New York, or they are hand-knit with reclaimed yarn in Huntington, Indiana.
All Toasty Times are assembled and distributed from Brooklyn, NY.
